Producers and importers
If you place oils on the market in North Macedonia, the obligation is yours.
In accordance with the Law on the Management of Additional Waste Streams, in force since 1 January 2024, every company that produces or imports oil products is obliged to organise a system that collects, sorts and recycles the waste oils arising after those products have been used by end consumers. (ЗУДТО чл. 72(4)–(5))
The obligation under Article 17 of the Law on Extended Producer Responsibility for the Management of Special Waste Streams applies only to a producer that places on the market, or imports into the Republic of North Macedonia, more than 100 kg of oil products per year. (ЗПО чл. 17)

If you are not a member — fee payable to the state

Our members
Companies that meet their waste-oil management obligation together with Eko Fluid.
What happens once you join
The process is the same for every member, and runs through the member portal.
Contract
A contract is signed with Eko Fluid. There is no membership without one.
Declaration
You declare the quantities placed on the market, in kilograms, per category.
Invoice
Once the declaration is approved, an invoice for the fee is issued.
Certificate
Once the obligation is met you receive an annual certificate.
Declaration statuses
Members declare monthly; Eko Fluid reports quarterly to the competent authority. (ЗПО чл. 31(3))
