In a collaboration between Makstil and Eko Fluid, a series of training sessions were held focused on the ecological and safe management of used oil and grease.
The first training took place at the Steel Plant facility, and the second at the Rolling Mill.
The objectives of these specialized trainings were:
• Raising awareness of the environmental damage caused by improper handling of used oils and greases.
• Promoting responsible and sustainable management practices.
• Empowering participants to take an active role in environmental protection.
• Encouraging the reduction of new oil usage through the reuse and recycling of waste oil generated during regular work processes.
With the new legal regulation for the import and management of motor oils and greases coming into effect on 01.01.2024, Makstil became an active part of the recycling system in this sector. In that direction, Eko Fluid donated equipment for the collection and proper handling of used oil, significantly contributing to the efficiency and sustainability of the process.
